Drain Assembly for Metal Stock Tanks

Necessary to completely drain a metal stock tank because the drain provided is located on the side several inches off the bottom. Our stock tank drain assembly is installed on the bottom near the outside edge of the tank (Preferably the same side as the heater). Includes a stainless steel drain fixture, drain pipe, and brass gate valve with a garden hose fitting. Installation requires cutting a hole in the stock tank bottom using a 2-in. metal cutting hole saw mounted on a drill motor. The stock tank must be elevated at least 4-in. off the ground to provide clearance for the drain pipe, but also to achieve the proper height relationship to a Chofu heater for thermosiphon circulation.
