24-in. long by 4-in. diameter. 8ft required for maximum efficiency of the Chofu wood-fired heater. For the past 18 years this pipe has been made to our specifications by an Amish sheet metal shop using premium grade 304 stainless steel. We have a low mark-up to encourage people to use this high quality stainless pipe that will last a lifetime. 8ft. of stove pipe is necessary to produce the optimal air-draw through the Chofu firebox for fast, efficient heating. A shorter chimney length will produce a slower heating rate. Stove pipe must be stabilized by our Stainless Steel Support Bracket if more than 8ft. of pipe or a Chimney Cap is used.  Sheet metal screws for fastening stove pipe connections and a cobalt drill bit (required for drilling stainless steel) are provided when purchasing a Chofu heater. All stove pipe connections must be secured with three sheet metal screws to insure stability. The stove pipe must also be securely fasted to the 4-in. stove pipe adapter; however, the connection between the pipe adapter and the smoke outlet collar does not require sheet metal screws for stability, as this connection has a tight glove-like fit. When the Chofu is not being used, the stove pipe may be lifted off from the smoke outlet collar and stored.

For stabilizing stove pipe. Clamps around 4-inch stove pipe with three places for attachment. Necessary for stability when more than 8ft of stove pipe or a chimney cap is used. Wire can be attached from the support bracket to the ground or to a secure structure.

For thin walled tubs ³/₄ in. thick or less (stock tanks, etc). Requires a hole size of 2-³/₈ to 2-¹/₂ in. diameter. Flexible neoprene sleeve bends to accommodate angle of pipe between Chofu heater and tub. Two ports are required with a Chofu heater.

For thin wall tubs with wall thickness of ³/₈-inch or less (Stock Tanks, etc). Top port has a deflection plate to diffuse hot water entering tub. Flexible neoprene sleeve bends to accommodate angle of pipe between Chofu heater and tub. Neoprene sleeve accepts either 1-3/4 inch O.D. stainless tubes or 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe. Note: These ports do not receive plugs for Freeze Protection. Two ports require with a Chofu heater.

Necessary to completely drain a plastic stock tank because the drain provided is located on the side rather than the bottom. Our drain assembly is installed directly in the bottom near the outside edge of the tank (preferably on the same side as the heater). The plastic stock tank drain assembly includes a longer drain pipe (required when enclosing the tank with vertical side panels). Drain fixture requires a 2-in. hole to be cut in the bottom of the tank using a hole saw with a drill motor. Note: A plastic stock tank must be elevated at least 4-in. off the ground to provide clearance for the drain pipe. Includes a stainless steel drain fixture, drain pipe, and brass gate valve with a garden hose fitting.

Gives a quick reading after stirring water (non-submersible). Responds in 12 seconds compared to a standard mercury bulb thermometer, which take several minutes. The slow circulation of a Chofu heater creates a stratified water temperature, necessitating a quick temperature reading after stirring the tub with a paddle.

Connects 4-inch stove pipe to the enameled smoke outlet collar on a Chofu Heater. Made of 304 grade stainless steel. Fits snug over the smoke outlet collar of the Chofu heater. Does not need to be permanently fastened to the smoke outlet collar due to a tight fit. Allows entire stove pipe to be lifted off of the heater and stored when not in use.

For connecting a Chofu heater to a soaking tub. 10 in. long x 1-3/4 in. outside diameter. Provided with Chofu heater. Can be purchased separately.

For connecting a Chofu heater to a tub. Connects directly to the Chofu Heater circulation pipes, fastened with wire clamps. Comes with a 90 degree bend but can be cut to form a straight connection between heater and tub, 1-3/4 in. inside diameter. (two tubes provided with Chofu heater)
